Those files use version 11 cracked neuz, which is not the one you use for your caaliservers. Note that if you think you got a version 12 client then *insert insults here* because (almost) nobody on ragezone has the version 12 cracked neuz - NOT EVEN ME.

Package contents
  1. Source code for login server
  2. Source code for cluster server
  3. Login server binary
  4. Cluster server binary
  5. Configuration files
  6. MyODBC installer
  7. Database file (SQL)

Requirements
  1. Microsoft Visual C# 2008 Express Edition (download?)
  2. MySQL server ( )
  3. MySQL ODBC connector (included)
  4. .NET Framework 2.0 MINIMUM
  5. .NET Framework 3.5 RECOMMENDED
Installing and using the server

There's nothing to install. You can recompile the files if you want, but they're already complete..
To use the servers simply double click FlyffLoginNew.exe and FlyffClusterNew.exe in SharedBin folder.

Configuration files

Configuration files are placed in folder SharedBin\conf.
  • Loginserver.ini - Used by the login server.
Here you put in the IP's of all CLUSTER servers.
You can create multiple clusters and multiple servers for each cluster, up to 2147483647 clusters and 2147483647 servers for each cluster.
Remember, in order to have 2147483647 clusters you have to have 2147483647 IP addresses.
Guide? open up loginserver.ini, there's one in here.
  • Clusterserver.ini - Used by the cluster server.
Nothing much in here actually, so you can leave it as it is.
  • Servers.ini - Used by the cluster server.
This one is the MAIN file for having more than one server in each cluster, which actually works (but then you gotta have 2 different IP's)
    Guide? inside.
  • Localization.ini - Used by both servers.
This one makes it possible for those dudes behind a router (like me) to use their WAN IP and still connect to 127.0.0.1.
Simply put all your server IP's in here, and then when you connect to your own computer with flyff client (make sure you put 127.0.0.1 in neuz.ini though), those IP's will be "localized", meaning instead of the client getting your WAN IP, it gets 127.0.0.1 - wonderful, isn't it?!
  • MyODBC.ini - Used by both servers.
DO NOT FORGET TO EDIT YOUR INFORMATION HERE - INCORRECT INFORMATION CAUSES IMPOSSIBILITY FOR THE SERVERS TO START. Enough said.
  • MakeItemsF.ini and MakeItemsM.ini - Used by the cluster server.
Those two create equipments and items for every new character. M is for male characters and F - female characters.

Frequently asked questions
Q: How do I register an account?
A: Registering is easy - using Navicat, open table flyff_accounts.
Create a new row; under flyff_accountname, enter your username, and under flyff_passwordhash, enter whatever your password hash is.

Q: When I try to login, it says my account is banned. why?
A: Make sure the value of flyff_authoritylevel in flyff_accounts is greater than 0. 0 or lower is considered as banned.

Q: When I try to login, it says my account is not verified. why?
A: Make sure the value of flyff_awaitingverification in flyff_accounts is equal to 0.

Q: When I try to login, it says that my account is being checked. why?
A: Check flyff_accountchecks table. If flyff_userid column contains the value of flyff_userid in flyff_accounts table of the account you are trying to log in with, then delete that row and retry logging in.

Q: I successfully logged in, but there's no servers in the list. why?
A: Your flyff client version is 9 or lower. A version 11 client is required. (download link will be available soon)

Q: Can you actually spawn, move your character and do some amazing stuff?
A: This release includes only login & cluster servers - no world server included, you'll have to create your own. :)

Q: What client version can be used with the files?
A: Flyff resource files (.res) can be at any version (recommended 11+) but your neuz.exe file must be version 11. That means, if you are trying to use the same neuz you use for your caaliserver, you will fail to login since the server does not handle version 9 clients.

Re: Would you want C# login & cluster servers released?

Whyever not?

Isn't the point of Ragezone to share your work so that other devs can build on/improve/personalise it and penultimately get fully working, stable server files as the end result?

You could do what Glaphan did and insert a few errors to stop anyone but developers using it, but as it's just the login and cluster servers I don't think that's really necessary.

Re: Would you want C# login & cluster servers released?

13 voted yes and yet only 2 posts? shame on you!
Expect the source to be released in 5 to 10 minutes from now.

Re: Would you want C# login & cluster servers released?

I never saw a C# program lol
But I will learn it and it would be good to have a reference to work on the C++ source :P

Someone around here has a rapidshare premium account, eh? :)

Edit:
Now that you have 2 servers out of the 3 (4 if you include ISC) - why don't you start working on a new project in the same solution called flyffworld?
You know, you got the base socket handling in here - all you need to do is copypaste flyfflogin project, rename it to flyffworld and modify Client class, simple isn't it?

Hahah, that is exactly what frost said!
My reply is still the same - I don't make it sound easy, it already is.
As we speak, I'm working on a new ISC server for myself based on the same files.
