Auranogi is a Mabinogi private server running on a custom server emulator. We use a modern G25 client, with content up to and including G4 (Iria - Rano) with many other contents and QoL from later versions. Rather than stick to a single game version, Auranogi focuses on keeping the spirit of the old-school versions while still having content, features, and fashion from newer versions. We've been around since September 2016.

*Monster Drop rates are 1x, but unlike official servers monsters have a chance of dropping all items in their drop table at once, instead of being limited to only one drop from their drop table.

For the month of November we are running the "Lorna and Pan's Thanksgiving Feast" event, notes on the event below:

• Lorna and Pan are planning a Thanksgiving feast and want help gathering food for it.
• Gather food by gathering, using the cooking skill (rank F for this event), and fighting the turkey brigade.
• The Turkey Brigade is a field boss that spawns at 6pm Erinn Time every night in Tir Chonaill, Dunbarton, Emain Macha, Taillteann, and Tara. You can fight them for quest items, coupons, and thanksgiving gift boxes.
• Occasionally the Turkey Brigade Commander will appear instead, which is stronger, but has better drop rates.
• The event consists of 10 quests, each quest will reward some coupons, occasional giftboxes, and a special award awaits at the end.
• Food can continue to be turned into Pan for additional coupons.
• Lorna can exchange coupons for 4 types of gift boxes.
• The lucky seed pouch for x3 coupons, containing between 1-5 random homestead seeds.
• The sturdy gift box for x5 coupons, containing higher durability gathering and lifeskill tools.
• The Thanksgiving gift box for x10 coupons, containing mostly Autumn and Thanksgiving themed equipment.
• The Lorna and Pan gift box for x15 coupons, containing mostly Lorna and Pan themed items.
• The Chef's Bag for x50 coupons, which holds food items and cooking utensils.
• A daily quest to defeat the Turkey Commander will also be given in addition to the other event quests

• Completing this quest will also give access to daily quests to defeat the troublemaker who took the gifts and to complete Holiday Math Dungeon
• The defeated troublemaker also has a chance to drop Christmas Giftboxes when defeated!
• Passes for Math Holiday Dungeon will be awarded daily from doing the quest to defeat the troublemaker
• Additional Math Holiday Dungeon Passes and special Adv Math Holiday Dungeon Passes can drop from the dungeon endchest
• Normal Math Holiday Dungeon is for 1-4 players, the Adv version is for 1-4 players
• Special Holiday themed rewards also drop from the dungeon endchest.
• Holiday Bear and Reindeer Pets are available at Coco for a limited time, and will be removed from her shop at the end of the month
• During the Event period various towns in Uladh will be covered in Christmas Decorations

For the month of January we are running the Animal Dungeon Event, which only allows pet characters to participate in the event dungeons.

Animal Dungeon Event

• During the event period the weird cat is giving out Ciar Fomor Passes out to pet characters that talk to him.
• These passes can be used in Ciar Dungeon, the catch is that parties may only contain pet characters. Up to 8 pets can join each dungeon.
• There are special rewards in the end chests at the end of the dungeon
• Clearing a dungeon also rewards Pet Dungeon Points
• Pet Dungeon Points are account wide and can be redeemed at the Weird Cat on human, elf, and giant characters
• Rewards include the Rainbow Cheetah Selection Box, various other Pet Whistles, and equipment that also has a chance of dropping from the event dungeons
• New for 2024, Basic and Advanced versions of the Pet Dungeon are now available, which can also have their passes be obtained from the Weird Cat
• 1 Pet Dungeon Point is given for clearing the regular dungeon, 3 for clearing the basic dungeon, and 5 for clearing the advanced dungeon
• Parts of the Arctic Fox set can be obtained from the Basic Event Dungeon
• Parts of the Fluffy Arctic Fox set and the Arctic Fox Lantern Tail can be obtained from the Adv Event Dungeon

For the month of February we are running a Valentine's Day event that has two parts, cooking a cake for an NPC and running a dungeon, both of which can be done daily.

Valentine's Day Lover's Chocolate Cake Event
Event Dates: February 1, 2024 12:00 AM - March 1, 2024 12:00 AM

• The pair of shy lover's in Dunbarton need your help to confess their feelings!
• Eavan will give you a quest to confront the NPC that matches your gender
• Every day this npc (Conor for males, Abbey for Females) will give you a quest to cook a Cacao Chocolate Cake
• Flour Dough and Cacao can be found in the event tab at Grocery Store NPCs during the event period, these are used as ingredients for the cake.
• Completeing this quest will reward a Valentine's Day Dungeon Pass, Experience, and a Valentine's Gift Box that gives equipment for your gender.
• The first time the quest is cleared, you will also earn a Courtship Gesture Card
• Player's who have not completed this event in the past will also earn a special quest after the event concludes if they complete the daily quest at least one time.
• The Valentine's Day Dungeon Pass can be used at Math Dungeon, and you can bring a party of up to 4 players inside.
• Clearing the dungeon rewards you with Valentine's themed equipment, Gems, chocolate, and guarantees a drop of an Essence of Tuan
• Using the Essence of Tuanwill bring up a dialogue that will allow you to trade Essences in for different rewards Rewards:
  • Direct Dye Ampoule (Wings of Tuan) - 2 Essence of Tuan
    • Antlers of Tuan - 10 Essence of Tuan
      • Wings of Tuan (Random Color) - 25 Essence of Tuan
• Essence of Tuan may still be used after the event period concludes.

Valentine's Day Hot Day Event

but eventually not launched. anyways i played auranogi serveral years ago

if you going to play auranogi
i don't really recommend getting too involved in community because some of core users in discord are really toxic.
I had say one rotten apple spoils the barrel lmao, am not sure if they still play but they dominate this small server anyways as a group so its unlikely to be any diff than before I guess..

other than that everything is fine, have a lot of potential than mabipro

It's gotten better, I do agree that some of those users you refer to are quite toxic and unpleasant.

But server has grown a bit and there are nice people in there too now, they are no longer the only active guild either if you are into that, nor are they the biggest.

Best you can do is ignore the bad ones, enjoy your time with the good ones, they are there, the server is worth it.

• Travel across Maiz and find the NPCs: Dan O'Callaghan, Will Donnelly, and Matthew McLaughlin, each will reward you with Lucky Four-Leaf Clovers
• Completing the quest will reward you with a Mini Leprechaun Hat and Lucky Four-Leaf Clover
• After completing the quest you may speak to the event NPCs again to obtain more Four-Leaf Clovers after a given amount of time has passed.
• Lucky Four-Leaf Clovers may be used to enter the Special Four Leaf Clover Dungeon at Rabbie Dungeon, this dungeon features various green colored items, food, title coupons, and more

• Upon login you will receive a mysterious basket
• If the basket is lost, a new one can be obtained by talking to NPC Makenna about current events
• This basket can be used by either right clicking it or by dragging the item onto a hotkey slot, using it will allow you to speak with the Mysterious Moon Bunny
• During the event period, easter eggs of various types will drop from monsters, these will give various amounts of Inaba Credits
• Beware of Suspicious Easter Eggs, these give a random amount of credits, but also have a chance of spawning monsters
• During the event period, both your current inaba credits and lifetime amount earned during the event will be tracked
• Your currently remaining inaba credits can be exchanged for various rewards when using the Easter Basket, including equipment, dyes, and a few special limited time items. Items in the limited section may only be purchased once per character.
• Milestone rewards are earned when earning a total amount of credits during the event period, these rewards do not spend inaba credits, and can be obtained at your leisure, including after the event period.
• Hand Crafted Eggs may also be created using the handicraft skill using paint and eggs, using eggs made through handicraft generally gives more credits than eggs dropped through monsters.
• The value of Hand Crafted Eggs will decrease each time you use one of the same type, the current value of a specific egg can be checked through the npc menu, these values will be reset every week after age-up occurs on Samhain.
• Current, Personal Total, and Global Total Inaba Credit values can also be checked through the npc menu
• Through milestone rewards and the inaba credit exchange shop, Inaba Lunatic Blades and Lunacy Crystals can be earned.
• Inaba Lunatic Blades can be upgraded to a higher tier by using Lunacy Crystals through the NPC menu.
• Faded Inaba Lunatic Blade > Inaba Lunatic Blade - 1 Lunacy Crystal
• Inaba Lunatic Blade > Chaotic Inaba Lunatic Blade - 3 Lunacy Crystals
