when i try to run the MaNGOS.exe it says cannont find realmd.conf and mangos.conf when they are both in the folder anybody know how to fix this?

How works .faction? In many instance's at mobs it is registered faction 0. If to put .faction 1, they become red, but all equally do not attack. Tried to enter up to 50, a zero of distinctions.

I've been running WoW emulators for a year or so, and I know that there was a realmlist looping problem with some certain versions. Now I discovered that with this MaNGOS release and 2.0.10 client, it still gets stuck in a loop when I select a realm? I've modified my hosts file to point the dedicated emulator server IP to the official WoW european servers, which should just work, right?

Ok, the problem is probably the wrong names.

In SQLyog, the 2 databases are:

mangos_bc
realmd_bc

Yet in your realmd.conf it says 127.0.0.1;root;root;mangos
and in your other file it says the same thing. Try adding the "_bc" without the quotes. Then run the server.

Also, if it says "cannot find gameobjects_template", then that means you need to destroy the databases and re-SQL dump. And just let it go completely through. After it's completely done there should be about 50-60 things under the Mangos_bc database and 4 under realmd_bc database.

Thanks for the guide, it's awesome and I got my server going. But the only thing that still doesn't work is having creatures....is there a command to make them world spawn? I've checked the command list and haven't seen anything thus far.

But I have the same error as Dids has, I'm stuck in the Select Realm Screen. When I try to login into my realm, it sends me back to the select screen.

Anyone else with this problem?

ok all my ports are open but I still cannot get passed the success screen and when I hit cancel it says retrieving realm list but then it does nothing anybody got anymore ideas on how I can fix this?

ok the way I got around that .log error is I downloaded the 2.0.8 version of this mangos and replaced all the script files and conf. files and replaced the realmd.exe and mangos.exe and ran it and it will create the log file your looking for then just shut your server back down and put all the original files back where they were and that should do the trick and as for the tbc_ad your suppose to place that in your wow directory and run it. It is used to generate your own maps so you don't really need that but if you decide to you need to make a maps folder in your wow directory cause that is where the maps will be placed and then you just copy it to your mangos folder and there your done.

After I fixed this it keeps on crashing... I dunno what to do now and I think im just gonna stop trying, I couldnt read the eror because I only see black sreens in a flash and then dissapear...

guys i need some help and badly i need to set up a server for SouthAfrica coz my friends dont want to and we are caped on our I-netin SA"i have cap of 9 GB"so i downloaded all 4 parts made the maps and when i try and start any of the servers it flashs so fast you dont even see it so if i press enter on it 1kkkkkk times it just makes a new one and in a sec it closes i tryed to take a screen shot i got one that has text and i forgot to save it buy it said something like "cant find......mangos.config/realmd.config" or something so guys please help me [it was so easy to of made one for 1.12.0 last year and now i cant get it to work plz guys i need help]

mangos restarter always says..

crashed! Restarting....Restarting...

MySQL is running, DB's are excuted, conf's are right configured....maps are copied to the dictory, what could be wrong?
