I was pretty active on those forums.

But I'm also pretty happy nexon's finally taking some action towards private servers, they were starting to piss me off. :]

I always found the way Nexon dealt with PServers quite funny...
Normally the owners try to improve their game to say "PServers ain't got sh*t on us" but Nexon went with a different approach...

That'll be because the advertisements aren't illegal (for RZ), just the server files that we hosted.

I couldn't care less tbfh.
Nobody annoyed me from that section, so it don't affect me as long as they don't pour into this section. :l

Exactly, advertising is just as bad. Mind you, my ad is still in there, I've been meaning to get rid of the damn thing.

How isn't it as bad?
It's about the same, there might not be any files hosted or what not, but just the fact that the servers are USING those files that were posted is bad.

BUT, those sites arent part of RZ.
Those who make the sites are in for the blame, not the people who supply a space for them to advertise.
Ragezone isnt MAKING them posts ads and I'm sure there's a warning saying there illegal somewhere.

So, RZ wouldn't be in the blame for them creating/advertising them

You know, on a LOT of levels I'm ecstatic about this, because there goes like 98% of RaGEZONE's shit users. That section stopped going anywhere a LOOOOONG LONNNNNNG time ago.
