masquerade room v3 error

hello every 1 i got a error when i startup beast.exe i had start it up as admin too only still the same "a referral was returned from the server." is the error what i must do ? please help me

Did you do the thing i told you.
Run it in windows Xp Sp3 mode.

i got this to and what raventh says doesnt help me out
i have put it in windows 7 mode and it worked (i have windows 8)
