[MEGA GUIDE] Rose Server Setup + Compiling + SQL & More

Im sorry to double post. But i have found out. With my old server with the new site. It actually detects when my servers are online. But it still cannot register.

PHPMyAdmin isn't in the guide, so I cannot help you unless you follow the guide, sorry.

u have to exit all the servers.exe close like all the world login and char and try it again

btw i put those exe's in the roseonline folder right?

Compare the config file and the database settings. You mistyped a password somewhere.

No idea, you screwed up somewhere..

1.) Download server
2.) Edit config.ini
3.) Import that .sql

//done.

at the part of the guid where you first launch Navicat and click test connection you say it should say success and if it does then hit ok..well what if it doesnt,then what?..i get "2003 - Cant connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061)"

any help would be great

Then your Navicat settings differ from your MySQL settings.

i click on them in my rose online folder

the importing sql
do i import it to the rose online folder??
and download server...

Pretty stable, hasn't crashed for me yet.

Compare the Navicat settings, such as "localhost, user, password" to your MySQL settings.

Honestly mate, I don't know what you did to screw up your EXE's. Re-extract them from the Fullserver file. For the SQL, I'll tell you this for the fourth time. Open navicat, make a database named "rosen_beta", then right click that database and click "Execute bath file" and point it to your rosen_beta.sql, and click "OK".

Go to "Start>All Programs>MySQL>MySQL Server 5.0>MySQL Server Instance Config Wizard"

Then go through, at the end it will ask you to make a password, whatever that password is, enter it in for the Navicat password.
