hey, im kinda confused as to how im supposed to get this MySQL thing workin,...: i open the MySQL 5.0 link and install it, then after i run its "server instance config wizard" thingy ,and wen i get to the part right after i enter my password and try to execute, it says "cannot create windows service for MySQL. Error:0" -help please o.o" =x =o =x =o

Uninstall MySQL. Go to your Program Files and find the MySQL folder and delete it. Reboot your computer and install MySQL and try again.

erm i looked at previous posts bout this how do i update SQL with rev_41

umm i cant see ur posts any more wtf.... akai ur posts show up blank to me !!!!: ( and how do i fix this townid fatal error thingy... it wont run for more then 10 seconds how do i update the SQL in rev_41

Don't double post, edit your first post. - Posts merged.

Copy that query I gave you into a text file, save it as town.sql and execute it into you Rose database.

When I start up Navicat it'll pop up the 30 day trial thing, I click 'OK', then 2 seconds later it crashes.

As the problem b4 ..u said i have to port foward for 29000 , 29100 , 29200 .. i have done that but the same problem still occur which i cant login and cant move to choose the world / channel selection page..
** when i login with my desire id and pass.. the login server detect my login and dc instantly... and the page stay "connecting server" forever =.=

Hello everyone,

Everytime I press the Test Connection button in Navicat it says

"1045 - Acces denied for user 'root@localhost' (using password : NO)"
and I have mysql 5.0 installed.

Could anyone help me please?


EDIT : uninstalled mysql 5.0, restart my computer, reinstalled mysql 5.0, tried connecting again. Still not working.
Any help would be great



Edit2 : Nevermind, I fixed it my self . But now I can't log in, keeps saying that my password is incorrect.


Edit 3 : all problems gone, except for the stupid Fairy thing
Can anyone tell me how i can disable the random Fairy spawn?

for example i take 5,676,3rd job boots,Hawker"
so you typ : /item 676 5 1

so the 676 is just the number of the list of items , and the 5 is the colom 5 , the 1 is the amount, how mutch time you want the item , so if you typ 1 you will get 1 boots of hawker , if you typ 2 you get 2times the item , simpel right?


now i wanna thx for the rev 41 , it works fine , my skills work perfectly , the buy of npc also xD just 1 more question , wath must be the acces lvl of the accounds to use /go???? and not be GM ?

hmm rev41 is very nice but if i typ gm commmand : /level 20 , i wont go to lvl 20 i just earn 20 more lvl's so if i wanna go back low lvl i have to close server and have to change in DB , is there an easy'r way for this??

and what must be the acces lvl in db for other player that are not GM and use /go

Acces lvl for other players who want to use /go is 100 i think. If it doesn't work just try 200 then.

I've installed the server and playing at it. My friend plays also on my server. But, he gets a strange screen when he attacks monsters or when he tries to open his stats.
