Why wouldn't it be possible to play within a lan?

It works fine up to the point of that message and that doesn't say anything about a lan, only that the servers are undergoing maintenance... I didn't ask friends to check because it doesn't work in the network...

Is it possible to edit the shops?
Is there another kind of 'gm' which can not edit items?

i haven't drop a zuly in the server...

That guy who got server thing He said make sure ports forwarded I got it too until I forwarded. Also Does anyone know why I get hacking tool 20. I replaced the gg files using rev 80

In the router the ports are forwarded, yet I still get that message.
It doesn't matter if I play from a different computer in the network or from the pc that runs the server...

And I did follow the guide at the first post

Hi all guys i have this error. Im stuck here:

After that's done, run the program. (Default path is C:\Dev-Cpp ). Now you need the libmysql package. So inside DEV C++, go to the menu "Tools>Check for updates/packages" and select the "devpacks" mirror. Then click "Check for updates" after the list is complete, search through and find "libmysql" and select it and click "Download Selected". After it downloads it will install, so let it install.

After the libmysql package is installed, we need to change a few lib paths. Open up your project (such as worldserver.dev, which can be found in the "worldserver" folder) Go to menu "Project>project option".
2. Go to "parameters" tab and change the "C:/Dev-Cpp/lib/libws2_32.a" and "C:/Dev-Cpp/lib/libmysql.a"
for you correct path.

Open DEV C++ and in the menu go to "Project>Project Option". Then go to the tab "Parameters" and change the "C:/Dev-Cpp/lib/libws2_32.a" and "C:/Dev-Cpp/lib/libmysql.a" to their correct paths, (look for files in the "lib" folder, and just copy and path).

Now, to compile the .exe, open the .dev (loginserver.dev, charserver.dev, worldserver.dev) and click on the menu "Execute>Rebuild All". And you have the .exe inside the sources folder!

PD: some ppl know some Program for make my password to Md5? i mean a software for install in my pc.

Great Guide, Easy to follow, However Im having a small problem, I have everything set right so I thought, I can logon, Create or select a character, however when i click a character to enter the world I sit at waiting and an error pops up on my screen. Any Suggestions?

I'm sorry if this question has been asked but I dont want to read 150 pages.
The question is not about the guide but you seem to know what you are doing so I was wondering if you know anything about editing the xp gain of individual mobs.. From what I can find its in the "Npc_Data.csv" file but I cant seem to get a reaktion "in-game" if you know anything at all about this I would really appreciate your help. Even if doesn't really answer my question ^^

though I didn't use it the guide was great. Good job

I'm still stuck with that maintenance message, which I can't seem to get rid off.

I did forward the ports, I did put the right ip information in the server.conf files

Why do I keep getting that message?

first sry for my english.. may this would have been asked already but 145 pages.. phew ^^
very nice guide but i cant do anythink.. i did exact the things how it was wroten down in the guide not more not less..
i start xamp it says: apache+mysql is starting now and that forever..
if i start the server's they say: syntax error couldnt connect to mysql.. or syntax error: accesdenied for user rot @ localhost
i m using hamachi cuz i have a router.
in my conf files i did write as serverip my hamachhi ip and lan ip my lan ip and submask ip my submask ip. think its k. i forwarded the ports 29000 29100 29200 for the application ROSE
to open my server i just need to start xamp the 3 server .exe's and my client to join the game or?
pls help me.. reply or send an email: [email protected]
i no more cant open my localhost connection in navicat it says:
1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password:yes)
if i cant open xamp so the 3 exe' of the server also wont open or?
so i learned that i wont get an answer if i dont have read the problems solutions part..
the helps there dont solve my problem.

Hi, I'm getting a...

[FATAL ERROR] Error connecting to MySQL server: Access denied for user 'root'@' localhost' <Using password: YES>

in LoginServer.exe. The MySQL pass and everything is correct but I don't know what I did..

All of the confs look like this for the Database section:

[DATABASE]
mysql_host=localhost
mysql_user=root
mysql_pass=root
mysql_database=roseon
mysql_port=3306
AutoQueryTime=600

When I tried Xammp (I skipped steps before I had this and it's my 3rd time starting over >_> with each time a new problem comes up) before I removed it. It said that the MySQL port is already being used. (I deleted Xammp since I started over but had the same problem).

Oh yah, Navicat works fine with the password.


If anyone could help I'll be really grateful ^^

Also, how do I COMPLETELY remove everything so I can start over(If starting over is my only possible way)? or at least let me remove the port from mySQL?
