Dear MoopleDEV users!

My thread is getting spammed with bugs and with people that need help with something. In order to prevent that I will set up this FAQ.

More rules will come later and Questions/Answers will be added later.

Let's start of with a few rules:

Only report bugs when you are sure it is caused by 'me', if you caused it yourself, don't ask for help in here.
Don't ask how to add custom stuff. Only if you have some problems with non-RMI.
You can report bugs in this thread OR in the release thread.
Read the FAQ first, before posting an error.

I have to build to FAQ, so just report bugs/errors, I will try to fix all of them and I will most likely create links in this post to the fix.

u need to hex edit to 0.0.0.0 or 127.0.0.1 for your own use as you are hosting using your own computer... IF you are hosting on a vps, hex edit your vps ip

.

Notes if you are using your own computer :
hex edit your client to wan ip for public but you use hex editted client ip 0.0.0.0 or 127.0.0.1 to play on your own computer

I still can't solve Unable to connect to login server error due to server check , a firewall block .
if someone knows how to fix it please post a reply thanks alot

Did you port forward? Did you hex edit the client? Did you clean+compile after changing the ip in ServerConstants.java?

Moople has a subversion system linked to NetBeans; it shows if any files have been modified, added, or deleted differently from Kevin's official version online. Files in blue mean they have been modified by a user, but not modified in the online version. Hover your cursor over the file and see the "Locally Modified" tag.

So if i compile it with my WanIP and then copy the Jar file into the source package it still works right? It's not due to i'm not compiling it correctly or something so this is does to affect or causes the firewall error i'm facing ?

Heyy, I'm getting a .bat error. 'Exception in thread "main" java.lang.OutOfMemory: Java heap space'. I don't know what to set the heap size to though. Any help would be appreciated.

Means you don't have that type of space on your computer, make it like 100mb or something. That should be more than enough as most things with codes are KB not MB.

The heap size is just based on the space you want to reserve for it.

You need at least 700 MB of ram in TOTAL to run the entire server, don't listen to this tool

I got error when launching server and somebody please help me, problem cannot be JCE because I already downloaded them and added to neede places like jdk.../bin and in places like that.

Try reinstalling Java. Use the links in a guide on how to make a server.

I just did about few minutes ago but it didnt help, even tried re compiling and build + clean again. I think its best for you to see and fix it tought TeamViewer, might just make things easier.
