EDIT: Ah this seems to be the later one over the one Eric shared the other day (just the .wz). This one seems to have minigames, Cash Shop, new login, and more stuff (basing this on what I see in .wz files). Thanks for sharing!

Yay, more KMS Beta's! I'll check out the client and get in-game to see what's new. It has the old UI it looks like (though video blocked in my country rip), but I'll check it out and see. I have a feeling this is the same thing as the other public WZ's but this is the original? No clue.

Incase anyone cares, my KMS Beta (the original one with old login and stuff) is minor 223, the one Lowsir had uploaded is minor 255, and I'll check the minor to this one.

Also, very cool that you have the original MSSetup! All I have is folders, so thanks for the share

EDIT: According to IDA, this client is also version 1 minor 255.. I decided to confirm by comparing addresses to the so-called v1.42 that Lowsir released, and all addresses match. So.. this is the clean MSSetup version of what I had previously tested.

Oh, and if anyone wants to localhost it, the IP's in the client are handled per-channel, and are:

Since people are posting clients here that are not on GMSdl.com, here's one I found the other day, but not too rare, since some Private Servers were run using it: KMS 1.2.1 dated slightly before the release of GMS, AFAIK. Looks very similar if not identical to v40 BETA, minus the GMS stuff (Gateway, "beta version" in right corner, etc). Also, still uses EMAIL to login.

Client date: 5-30-2005

It includes extracted package and the original installer.

I also have CMS v72 (GMS v55?), and CMS v133 (Around GMS v83), but they are not clean and original.

v97 game files

Hi,

Wondering if anyone still has v97 laying around somewhere.
I keep hitting dead links or corrupted installers (gmsdl.com installer is corrupted)

I tried diamondo25's patch tool using a v95 (.rar archive, cuz installer was corrupted...) from gmsdl, but the game files I ended up with were corrupted as well.

I just wanna mess around with the version a bit, so if anyone has it laying around that'd be great. (It's fine if you have files that aren't clean, as long as you pass me a copy )

Got them from someone, however it seems either the game files, or the only available localhost are corrupted in some way nontheless. Client crashes after getAuth and on windows XP tells you that some game files are corrupted.

It's the localhost as far as I know, I ran it on a GMST 97 (working) Nexon setup and it threw client outdated errors as well.

Dug around a bit, turns out it was apparently a common problem amongst v97. The localhost commonly spread was indeed wrong, found one claiming to be better though, will report in a couple hours when I have had a chance to check it out. If it works I'll upload it here as well. If not I fear v97 localhosts are lost...

Found another client not in GMSDL.com, MapleStory Europe version v27 (based on .wz version) dated July 2007.

Seems really early. Barely has guilds, orbis, no Amoria. Maybe fun for someone that want run a very early Europe server, has something called "Dictionary" in the UI.wz which seems to be exclusive, the typical language selection of course, the old MapleStory logo.

Also, already has the tutorial training camp! Seems to make sense now why in Maple Global when that came out the Login Theme for it was called "EU". Seems that Tutorial Camp origin from Maple Europe, and than came in GMS at ver v0.37. Fun stuff.

If I had to base the version of this list I think this version is based of v0.29 GMS. Has the new Gachapon ID's, but still the very odd names, has Owl of minerva. However, it has login themes, which came out in v0.38 in GMS, as well as Tutorial Camp. Right, and also no data.wz
