All great i see the screens see meny topics about the client on Linux but if some have that kind of problem whit setup muclient

fixme:xrandr:X11DRV_XRandR_SetCurrentMode Cannot change screen BPP from 32 to 16
err:opengl:X11DRV_ChoosePixelFormat glXChooseFBConfig returns NULL (glError: 0)

I use Ubuntu Breazzy 5.10 whit GNOME panel and KDE 3.4 for this distribution and i have that kind of error i have 2.6.12-10-386 kernel grafic card Grainword Nvidia G-Force 3 MX200 64MB i have lastest Nvidia driver 1.0-8178 and i have that kind of error on Cedega muclient start but do not connect to the server that becouse antycheat software using by webzen (Netprotect) other games like CoD CS 1.6 and MoHA works fine but MU not meybe someone have same problem and some how fix it

You need to install directX and openGL into the same bottle as the client.

2nd learn how to use compilers ull need em
3rd come back when u got MSSQL running in linux mysql wont do for mu server
4th for MSSQL>ODBC use FreeTDS

Hate to tell you, but you CAN run MU Server using MYSQL under linux and also run the server and client on linux.

So.........

I suggest you learn linux as well as MYSQL before you attempt to act all high and mighty telling people what can and can not be done on linux.

This i need see... first of all.. the mu got procedures, mysql dont have support for that...
Second, is sql language btw mysql and mssql have diferences
The client run in linux i have made it works, fine no problem...
The server is another history... all applications are write for win, with a emulator u can't run like the original...
U will need many dlls from windows, winsock, etc... the muserver use a big library of dlls ^^

First - MySQL DOES support stored procedures

Second - I am very aware the MSSQL doesn't conform to ANSI standards and you can rewrite to procedures to work properly.

Third - Everyone knows that MU (both server and client) are written for windows. ALL windows applications use DLLs. Ever heard of Wine ?

Also.. the client uses more intensive DLL calls than the server files.

Fourth, you did not mention that the server uses ODBC for database access, but there is also ODBC support in Linux/Wine as well.
