Hey guys so i just want to show you my 1st Web Template

i used flyforfantasy's website as my inspiration but i made this site my self, and i copied FFF's banner because im lazy to make my own atm :').

the original one is better^^
one thing u must learn on webdesigning, u shouldnt paint the layers (normal fonts), because it will never be used, since "special fonts" will cause problems in the IE, like ever.
however, for buttons and interface its okay, but at u i see just a half transparent black interface with some round edges and button fonts / headers that are too large, too small or just rly lame for that design.
but for your first time, its okay.

But no offence, this is ugly. Bad fonts, too large headers, the transparency of the content spaces makes the content difficult to read. You said you copied the background, you'd better not do, because that background is pretty ugly in my opinion. It is too busy, too much things too see there and with the content spaces being very transparent it is even worse.
