Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha)
-Pretty kick-butt anime, sounds like it's for girls; but as a guy i liked it, I recommend skipping the first season and heading on to A's and then to StrikerS. Mainly 'cause, i didn't like the first season and jewel seed crap. ANYWAYS, it's similar to some Mahou Shoujo's yet, more intense, StrikerS was amazuing. ANYWAYS again, uhh it has little girls doing huge blasts of energy :]]
More into storyline: In Nanoha A's: The book of Darkness (Tome of the Night Sky) awakens, along with its 4 gaurdian knights, for a while nothing changes however the Mistress becomes more paralyzed due to the Curse of the book. So the gaurdians, who had developed emotions thanks to the mistress, start collecting pages of the Book. In order to due that they must STEAL the Linker Cores (the core of which magic is created in every mage). This is highly illegal so the Time-Space Administration starts taking action by sending Nanoha&&co. Then there's a bunch of sad stuff when you find out who the mistress is and stuff.
Nanoha StrikeS: Just watch it, really good.
