Need help with item Spawns

Hi, Im using the untouched V3 source, got my map done, but cant place item spawns, the spawner itself works, I can place the "flagpole" but when I add a location and try to add a "spawner box" nothing the happens, I also need help with creating new lootpools since I dont want to use the original ISS ones. Also would like to know how to edit weapon names, damage, flavor text, etc

in var.h search like item-spawn-box , default is false , put true

REG_VAR( r_show_item_spawns , true, 0 ); mine is already set to true, at least this one is

itemdb xml and sql spawn the key your problem
