According to the display, you ARE setting a password. Even if you didn't intend on setting one. Confirm that in your conf files you have no spaces or characters after your equal sign.

Your message should say Password=NO

Also if you do have a password, makr sure w/e MySQL viewer (Navicat/SQLyog/ ETC) you are using has it's password set to the one in your .CONF files.
