Nginx 504 time-out

Good evening. When I create groups, change my motto (from my .me page), or join a group, I get the following error:

"504 gateway time-out
nginx/1.3.11"

Currently using Haddocms (Holocms edit).

Anyone got an idea? Thanks! tt1:

Change the nginx timeout and max upload options if that fails edit them in your php,ini

Changed the max upload options, but couldn't find the Nginx timeout? What is it named in the php.ini file? Thanks for the answer, by the way.

Presuming its a gateway timeout,
