Perfect World 1.5.5 Client/Server version mismatch error

I'm using the 1.5.5 server from PW-Dev:

To view the content, you need to sign in or register

I am using Client 1.5.5.


I have also made sure that the following files are synchronized between the client and server:

• elements.data
• tasks.data
• gshop.data

However, when I try to log in, I get the following error:

"The client version is not compatible. Please exit the system and update your client!"

I've attached a screenshot of the error.

As far as I can tell, both the client and server are from the same 1.5.5 release, and the required .data files have already been synchronized.


Has anyone encountered this issue before? What could be causing the client version check to fail?


Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
