Unfortunately, we have experienced significant hard drive damage that requires urgent maintenance and rebuilding. Assuming that you're talking about this source, you'd need to either install an old version of php, that supports mysql_* functions or edit the source to support an alternative db-extension, so I'd advice against using that source unless you know what you're doing.
Oh, is there something similar that can be used?

Similar to pokemon sky? I'm not sure, I just recently started looking in the pokemon server-space.
Similar db-extensions? Well, yes, but converting would take some time, not 100% sure how long time thought, as I only had a brief look at the source
