problem SQL 2005

hello,
i have an error at SQL

trying to restore



dunno if it's the kal_auth.BAK but i tried 2 different of them, both the same error.

i hope someone got's a answer

u can just choose to select all files ** instead of the .bak format // it worked with me

dude, he has it at making a kal_auth, i can't restore them, and allready disable'd my user account control

I have the same problem xD don't know why I was just interested in trying to use mssql 2005 well...2000 is easier xD but worser >.>

rename them to kal_auth.MDF and kal_db.MDF

Thanks but, it's not working. it's saying Codetable 949 Won't be Supported by the server

i've worked with sql 2000 for a long time, so dont know anything of sql 2005 lol

2005 is basicly 2000 but it looks different and has a few extras

im telling you now ,

if you can use 2000 then youu most definetly CAN use 2005,

you must be doing something wrong

try followning the guides posted by dopestar and deathart instead of the 1 that noob posted


and set the sql to run as admin even tho you dissabled the user account controll

yeah ok, that's true..
well i get my new pc with sp2 this week,
i'll wait for it, and try it on the new pw.
Maybe this is just fucked up lol
