This should help i use ubuntu which is based on debain everything works but the gs throws the error shown above, everything else starts normal

The real question is who actually wants private servers like these, instead of a high effort properly balanced all inclusive custom multi-version featuring all supported class builds ever ranging from 1.3.6 to 1.5.6? Nobody is familiar with this game anymore above 1.5.6.... Things become very complicated and bloated and no one really knows or cares what's going on. Do you think anyone can capture the nostalgia and original feeling and balance of this game above the version of 1.5.6?

True, players of old date will always pick 1.3.6 - 1.5.5 if customization and balance is properly done.
