Question

Now, I understand that most servers have issues logging in.

However, I've set up a server and everything seems to run fine, there's just a single issue. I just can't seem to connect with a client.

Now, the server is recieving the login request, and auths it, but doesn't get any further. Have I missed something?

That's the same problem everybody else has. The login server receives the login request ok and it goes wrong after that. You normally get in after a few tried though.

Check your logs for clues if you really can't get in.

But on other servers I have at least been able to get to the channel screen fairly quickly, so far I haven't even managed that. ;-;'

Then there could be a problem. You need to check the logs as any errors will appear there.

most problems with the login issues is the chinese authentication..
try look for another client..
example: cabal-eu.. (english version already)
just a little bit of reconfiguration and ur done..

the next bug/problem is the server-client compatibility..
example: probably, you will get disconnected when you buy Healing Pots if you dont have alz..
just try..

here's another one:
go to Warzone maps like Forgotten Ruins, Mutant Forest, etc..
try PK.. see if you dont get DC..

my point was.. there are differences in the clients,
its about the compatibility.
did you get my point?
