1- I would like to know if there is any indication of a minimum hosting configuration?
2- host the site separate from the server?

8gb ram is the bare minimum but I would go 16. You'll need a 1gbps port speed to otherwise you will go down constantly due to ddosing. Take a look at hetzner they offer some pretty cheap deals but are a respectable company. Otherwise check out OVH.
