ANSL is a scripting language I am currently devolping for NPC's. It stands for:

Advanced NPC Scripting Language

It will make more difficult commands easier, and it will also just making programming npc's easier.

Mini-Example:
Code:
npcid(9000017);
if(playerGetJobLevel() == 3 && playerGetLevel() >= 120){
     playerGiveNextJob();
}
npcEnd();

This code would simply make the NPC with id 9000017, give you your 4th job if you are suitable for it.

Features like this would take about 10 lines of code and its a bit more advanced in just c++.

This program will take the input, and convert it to C++ so you can insert it into the server.

Re: [Pre-Release] ANSL

I know that, but some functions like getting the job level(not job #, but the job level is more diffucult)... although i found a way to do it hehehe.

Also, I'm not saying I should do it, this is why I posted this. I want to see how many people really want it.

Re: [Pre-Release] ANSL

Ok, out of about 15 posts i will do a majority rules thing, cause its a big project, and I dont want to make it if noone needs it...

Re: [Pre-Release] ANSL

Thanks, that is my goal! Like I said, it will generate the C++ script too, so you can see what it actually translates to in c++ :P.

Also SyNTaX12, i would like to say, I'm trying to make it easier to code them, and also easier to do commands that don't exist(Aka. coding behind coding :P)

^^

Screw the score!

ITS OFFICIAL!

I will release many beta versions just so you can see it.
`Im going for a run right now(it will take 40-50min) then when I'm back I should have a decent program in about 2 hours after that. It will be easy to add all the current functions, then it will slow down when I add my own advanced ones.

100 Posts :P

It's useful, I support it.
