Holograph Emulator "Eucalypt": HabboD1
The free open-source Habbo Hotel emulator written in C#, using MySQL or MariaDB and links up with Meth0d's HoloCMS.

Hello all! =]

Note:
HabboD1 is an edit of Holograph Emulator "Eucalypt" by Nillus and me, Yesser. It was made for the Habbo V26 client.
We decided to never ever release this server to the world. Back in the days people would die for the HabboD1, but we kept our promise, until today.
This was a private project that was never publicly known. Only a few people (one of them was Dissi from Sunnieday) knew we were working on it together. Nillus made pets fully working and also fixed it for Sunnieday. That's why the leaked Sunnieday V26 source contains pets, just FYI. =]

Note: The HabboD2 source was a R63A variant which got leaked in the past. It was a project from Nillus for Mark from Holo.be. And by the way: The leaked source was not the complete one. This is a project Nillus decided to do for Mark. HabboD1 has nothing to do with the HabboD2 project and was fully independent at that time. So don't confuse HabboD1 with HabboD2.

This is probably the best Holograph Emulator edit ever made: It is very, very, very stable, the classic exploits in Holograph Emulator are patched, and has some crazy and unique features that almost no other Habbo retro hotel had back in the days. Especially the camera feature is fully working, which is highly unique; to this day, no other Holograph Emulator edit has this feature fully functional! =]

What is Holograph Emulator? - Summary
  • C# command line application to run a Habbo Hotel private server
  • Released on December 25th, 2007 by Nillus
  • HabboD1: Rebuilt for stability and security, with a lot of new and fixed features
  • Full C# source included (Visual Studio solution)

Client features
  • Habbo V26, build r26_20080915_0408_7984_61ccb5f8b8797a3aba62c1fa2ca80169 (habbo.dcr from September 15th, 2008, thanks to Quackster) - It's included in the download url
  • Works with Shockwave of course, and in the browser with DirPlayer (WebSocket and SSO login)

The camera
Back in 2008 - 2009 a working camera was something you never saw in a V26 version of a Habbo retro hotel. It was a feature nobody had. In HabboD1 me and Nillus got it fully working: Take a photo and it shows up in your hand, the film counter works, and it even works in the browser with DirPlayer.

Stability: Deadlocks fixed
The old Holograph Emulator edits were known for deadlocks: The hotel froze and the server or the client crashed. That's fixed:
  • Deadlocks: Locks are always taken in the same order (rooms and games), and slow work like sending and database queries happens after a lock is released.
  • Crashes: Every room, game and timer loop catches its own errors and keeps running. One bad packet or one bug can't take the hotel down anymore.
  • Load test: I remember we had 3,000 users online at the same time, without errors or freezes.
  • Database: Works with MySQL and MariaDB (also MariaDB 12, without changing my.ini).

Security: The classic exploits are fixed
All the classic Holograph Emulator exploits we know of are fixed:
  • SQL injection: Every query with user input uses parameters (login, navigator search, catalogue, rooms and more).
  • Packet injection: Fake packets through special characters in chat, names or furni are refused.
  • Furni dupes: Trading, placing traded furni, the recycler (stealing other people's furni), presents and Trax discs.
  • Credit dupes: Exchanging coins and gold bars and buying are atomic; credits never go below zero.
  • Rooms: Passwords, rights and owner rights are checked; no more entering a guest room as a "public room".
  • Teleporters: You can only jump into a teleporter from the square next to it.
  • Fake badges: You can only wear badges you own (no fake staff badges).
  • Login: 5 Wrong passwords and you're disconnected; SSO tickets work only once.
  • Floods: Packet floods close the connection; connection limits and IP bans per IP, also behind Cloudflare.
  • MUS: CMS commands are only accepted from your own web server, and the camera login is checked.

Features
  1. Camera - Photos, photo furni and film (also in the browser)
  2. BattleBall - 5 Lobbies by skill level, create and join games, teams, power-ups, scores and ranks, play again
  3. Wobble Squabble - Queue, push your opponent off the beam, splash into the water, game tickets
  4. Lido - Swimming, diving (Lido II), changing booths and pool stairs
  5. Trax - Traxmachine and jukebox, song editor, Traxpacks, playlists, burning songs to discs
  6. Habbo Club - 1, 3 or 6 months, club rights, HC badges and monthly club gifts
  7. Pets - Dog, cat and crocodile: nest, food, water, toys, treats and mood
  8. Moodlight - Presets, colours and brightness (fully working, even when you reload the room the settings are the same and the moodlight is not turning off)
  9. Rollers - Users and furni roll along
  10. Presents - Gift wrapping and opening presents
  11. Trading and the Recycler
  12. Catalogue - All V26 pages including Spaces and Collectables, deals, teleporters, reload without a restart
  13. Coins and gold bars - Exchange them for credits
  14. Game tickets - Buy them for yourself or for a friend
  15. Infobus and room polls
  16. Badges and group badges
  17. Messenger (console)
  18. Bots - Room bots that serve drinks
  19. Teleporters - Fully working.
  20. Browser play - WebSocket port for DirPlayer, SSO login, real player IP behind IIS and Cloudflare
  21. New pathfinder - Very stable and fast. Habbo logic. =]
And probably lot of awesome stuff I don't remember anymore. Emulator is from 2008 - 2009. A long ime ago.

What doesn't work/known problems
  • SnowStorm is not available, only BattleBall.
  • BattleBall power-ups work, but your client needs the bb2_pu_* furni (hof_furni), otherwise they're invisible.
  • BattleBall gives no credits for winning.
  • In the browser (DirPlayer) the catalogue can be slow on big pages: The V26 client downloads the furni one by one.
  • Only tested with the V26 build above; Other client versions are probably not supported.

Setup
I edited some small things in the source code to make it work in our present day.

  • Windows with .NET Framework 4.8, and MySQL or MariaDB
  • Import the database, then run the update blocks at the bottom of the SQL file
  • BattleBall in DirPlayer: Add cast.entry.48=hh_game_bb, cast.entry.49=hh_game_bb_room, cast.entry.50=hh_game_bb_ui and cast.entry.51=hh_gamesys to your external_variables.txt
  • Keep the MUS port closed to the internet; Only your web server needs it

Screenshots
Of course y'all want to see some screenshots. I made a quick one of the server. See below. =]

you have any tip about that? not sure in general what's happening, there's hundred of these 'no cast def found in file'

i can connect just if i disable websocket_via_iis on config

I can't see the second page on pets, but another pages are okay i think

when i change visuals, redirect me to a classichabbos

Thanks for testing and for the screenshot! Here's what's going on:

1. "No cast def found in file ... empty.cct"
That's normal. The client has placeholder slots ("empty 1", "empty 2", ...) that point to empty.cct and get filled while the hotel loads, and DirPlayer logs every one of them. You can ignore these lines, and also "Listener not found" and "Writer already exists". "Text not found" only means a line is missing in external_texts.txt (a label in a window).

2. websocket_via_iis
For a local test, keep it on false. The client then connects straight to the WebSocket port of the server (30002), like in your screenshot.
Only set it to true when your site runs on IIS with:
- the Windows feature "WebSocket Protocol"
- URL Rewrite and Application Request Routing (ARR), with "Enable proxy" turned on in ARR
- the two rules from web.config: ws-game goes to port 30002, ws-mus to your camera port. The included web.config sends ws-mus to 30005, but your server uses 30004 ("WebSocket for the camera is ready on port 30004"), so change that number.
You need this setup when your site runs on https, because a browser won't open a plain ws:// connection from an https page.

3. MUS IP
Your console says "Listening for MUS commands from 10.0.0.3". That's the default from the database. If your website runs on the same machine, run this and restart the server:
Code:
UPDATE system_config SET sval = '127.0.0.1' WHERE skey = 'server_mus_host';
This has nothing to do with logging in. It's only for commands your website sends to the server.

4. Pets: the second page doesn't show
The Pets page links to a page called "Pets2" that isn't in the database. Remove the link and fix the text:
Code:
UPDATE catalogue_pages SET label_misc = '', label_description = 'Fluff, scales and whiskers, meows, snaps and woofs! Anyone can have a pet! Use the arrows to pick yours.' WHERE indexid = 8;
Then type :refresh catalogue in the hotel (as staff), or restart the server.

5. "Change looks" goes to classichabbo
Changing your look inside the client isn't switched on in this version, so the client opens the link url_figure_editor from gamedata/external_texts.txt. That link, and a few other url_ lines, still point to classichabbo.com. Open external_texts.txt and replace and with your own site, for example:
Code:
url_figure_editor=http://localhost/

can you teach me how i could use Ruffles? I couldn't make it work when i tried, i would love to put every Oldskool Pack in this Ruffles thing

When i click change clothes, always open a new tab

tested;
url_figure_editor=
url_figure_editor=
