Well the only difference is they removed the sha1 encryption in this release, if you need it just use sha1($password) instead of $password when it's writing into the sql table. Also encryption is one way so as long as the user enters his/her pass in plain text, it will encrypt that pass and match it with the sql. If the hashes match, it will allow access.

Also, Eric and Ishan, if you're SO unwilling to give credits, at least give credits to sowhat's CMS.
We all know that there are a few sections exactly the same as sowhat's CMS, one example is the registration.
