Like I said in another thread I have not tested Express personally, but I don't doubt if it does not compile in it. But it definitely likes VS 2008 and definitely hates anything higher so don't attempt to upgrade above 2008 your older source will start to filter in additional crap you get to deal with.
Sorry for the short answer but I'm workin my butt off over here.

Here now give me time to get this set up for explanation etc.
We've still got to get web server tested out.
All compiles - successful
All databases imported - successful
Build screen shot attached.

I wont just put something out here that isn't tested.
I wont put pictures up of me attempting to login to the game until I'm positive things are working.
I don't like surprises or getting ahead of myself.

so far the best tutorial is to read all the pages to go fix files, a tutorial teaching step by step is not done yet....

We dont have that done so far.
Be patient!

If you dont have any idea how to use Visual Studio ect. it would be useless - Even if its there a tutorial or not.
Anyway: Spent some time with gf, or mom, or school and just wait few days.
