By the way, if your timer blinks continously and doesn't run out, that means you did it wrong. Go back and recheck ALL the char types that you used and make sure that they match up to each other.
Also check to make sure that there is the endSkill, useSkill and cancelSkill section correctly added, as well as declaring the skill in Skills.h
