Changelog - 0.94 — Account, companions, interface and world textures (22 October 2026)

- Added Account Fame with Combat, Life and Legend progress, tiered bonuses and daily Kinah stipends. The Account window shows Fame, Boons, Chronicle progress and account characters.
- Added separate movable and resizable Account and Player Companions windows. Companions have a redesigned equipment panel, party Pull/Kill/CC/Clear orders and configurable Stigma builds. Automatic gear selection skips test and prop items.
- Added the switchable Aetherfall Interface, HUD profiles, action-bar layout controls and the MoveUI editor with Save/Lock, Cancel, snapping and screen guides. Includes item comparison placement, map-tooltip overlap and target/aura mover repairs.
- Updated the launcher with its Mods window and theme choices, retaining each repack's connection settings.
- Restored Noble Garden shops, Protectorate/Recruit/Commando equipment exchanges and faction Ceramium fragment exchanges. Corrected native dialog and purchase eligibility checks.
- Improved companion navigation, combat and quest handling from the current original server installation. Retained previous companion, broker, pet and Stigma repairs.
- Prepared a separate optional 2x HD world-texture pack for Poeta/Ishalgen, Verteron/Altgard, Eltnen/Morheim, Sanctum/Pandaemonium, Heiron/Beluslan, Theobomos/Brusthonin and Inggison/Gelkmaros. The core update uses standard textures and retains the other graphics improvements and engine quality defaults.
- Added **Mods & tools** inside Aetherfall Hub, with the optional HD pack download, ZIP installation and an HD/standard texture switch. Shared graphics files and the selected profile are checked before launch. Added a Make Admin account control using the native Admin rank 9, replacing the old standalone scripts. Development rollback history is excluded from both downloads; active native graphics recovery remains included.
- Repaired fresh database verification to recognize the six reserved broker sellers while still requiring no player accounts or personal characters. Existing databases are preserved.
- Includes the locally prepared Setup mirror fallback repair. This update is prepared locally; publication and in-game acceptance remain separate.

That's really interesting. I'm currently working on something similar, but for version 4.9.1. However, if I may offer a bit of criticism, you may have gone a bit too far in replacing the UI, you can't see what's happening in the game at all anymore.

Yeah that's was actualy the point , access to those features requires you to go full screen, so that i can cram the actual functionality of those mods in that screen, its a trade-off per say. But i would accept any feedback on UI as im not the best UI designer ^_^

A month or so , of every day non stop working on it. Its far by finished i would call this a early access/beta at most though , there's still a-lot of bugs to it mainly coming from the emulator and second from my custom mods.

This is a level of streamlining unmatched by what you usually find on this forum and even in this section. Did you use Lightning as abasis by chance? Because their emulator too had a fully portable setup, relied on MySQL. I'll just assume that yours also uses two server batch files, login and game, right?

Also, 4.8 was the final update before they froze the abyss core solid I think.

The work on the emulator is done by beyond , its a free emulator based on the lightning source yet they took it further and have been working on it hard ,they are a amazing team and i hope they will not stop fixing and itterating this emulator . The instalation is done by me with a updater so i can push updates to your setup btw

I see. Beyond isn't in a very playable state however, according to its thread. Auglyn even removed the files because people assumed it was mostly done and fixed.

I'm no coder myself, just a simple player/debugger who has a knack for quickly spotting all sorts of bugs and oddities, so not sure how much I could do to help with the project if it involves active coding. However, I'm mostly familiar with Lightning/Falke because it's been the environment I have used for a good decade give or take. At least since before the abyss core was frozen solid.

Do you plan on getting involved with Classic too? There are grave inconssistencies with that because users start threads labeled as such, but the files they share are not Classic at all. The files are just regular old Aion. Classic however works a bit different and has some QOL changes applied that some might prefer.

I've fixed it, that bandwidth limit is from mega , google drive should work fine . You can also download them individiualy and have the launcher handle the rest when you import it thru the Aetherfall hub launcher
