What say if we create RESTful APIs in PHP for A3 database so that registration, players online, login page, account management can be done remotely?
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.
Note: This feature currently requires accessing the site using the built-in Safari browser.
But still, with RESTful APIs you can give the server data to people who need it without having to give away database credentials...It can be done remotely already
I am not getting your argument. Without APIs or using credentials how will you retrieve data from a remote database? Can't you do that already? Is there any reason to give Db credentials?
I suppose you already have some web admin tool, create a function to return for example online players and give the URL to your friends to post in their A3 blog or anything.
Does that require to give them db credentials?
