Hello community,
every model, Armors, Weapons, Objects need 2-3 different files to be built.
1. *.gb => 3d model file
2. *.gtx (or *.dds or *.png) => texture file
3. motion files => how the NPC for example is moving or breathing
you need nr. 2!
1. locate the gtx file u need.
2. convert the files to the right format
3. recolor
Instructions for the converter:
You just need to drag&drop the file you want to convert in the windows explorer.
Convert .gtx to .dds => drag and drop the .gtx files on the GTX2DDS.exe
Convert .dds to .gtx => drag and drop the .dds files on the DDS2GTX.exe

1. locate the gtx file u need.
- NPC for example => Data\Npc\Clothes\Tex\
2. convert the files to the right format
- now you need a converter to convert .gtx files to .dds (i ll upload this converter in this post)
- after having .dds files you can download a plugin for photoshop to open .dds files. Instead you can download Xnview (
To view the content, you need to sign in or register) and open .dds files and save them as .png
3. recolor
- if you got the right format now, you can start editing the texture file
- then go the same way backwards :
- 1. convert from .png to .dds -> then from .dds to .gtx
- replace old files, logout -> login and you see the result
