hey i was just wondering what all thease rev things are and how can you get the new updated items from rl wow to your ps? :velho:

Rev stands for Revision, meaning version. As far as wow emus r concerned this has nothing to do with the official client or server releases (note that there is no blizzard made data in any of the files the emu uses, they are all "handmade"). There are still revs designed for 2.1.0 that work just fine with 2.1.3 clients, they just dont have the updated material (as far as the core is concerned, the db is a different story).

What should only concern you is that your core (server) works fine with your db and people can log into your realms (if possible with the latest client version else you're gonna need an older patch or something custom). If people can't enter your realms anymore or your server starts crashing then you should think of updating to a newer rev. That's all.

ahh thanks well explained also one other thing lets say i want a newish item eg the armoured nether drake when i got the item no for it it said it did not exist?

this means it is not in your db. either update your db or you can also add custom items (or even creatures in it) but you still need to know the IDs of the graphics they use. Those resign at the .dbc files of your server.

Anyway it's a long story; if you just wanna add the "Swift Nether Drake" add this file in your db

Edit: i don't have any "Armored Nether Drake", i hope u mean the one i sent you, else i don't have it sry.
