"Host 'USER' is not allowed to connect to this MySql server"

Playing with the services.msc accounts doesn't help either

is the inlog name from your mysql "USER" ? if not you have to edit that one or it isnt running or not running good .

The thing is, when I create a user instead of ticking the local systemaccount box it doesn't start the mysql server anymore

hehe you need a MD5 pass you can find a converter here:

or if you use it for the first time you can better put it the save as the admin account. then you know how to change it its only the name pass and activation. thats all

For those using navicat, if you are experiencing world server crashed when starting up, please create a new user named : root password : password @ localhost

i need help...pls tell me how to start the navicat sql coz when i try to run it i've got same error with hadar2730... it says "2003 - Cant connect to MySQL server on "localhost" (10061)"
