Hi^^, First i need to thank jenetix for this good tutorial, but i can try to make my server, because when i want start the instalation i have an errorr: "accesss violation at 004091a2. Write of adress 00401000 for wamp5_1.6.4a.exe" and an error : "accesss violation at 004090AA. Write of adress 00401000 i don't know why.... so i ask it to you "why i have this error?".
Excuse my english so bad but i'm frensh.... sorry

I made an auto launcher .bat file to launch the 3 servers instead of clicking on each of them i can launch them at the same time all i did was go to notepad then put this in there

start cmd /k LoginServer
start cmd /k CharServer
start cmd /k WorldServer

But you have to rename your 3 server files so they dont have a space in the name.

wamp has bugs in it that ive found so i use xampp and navicat instead.

OH yeah, After you finished typing that out you click on save as and then name it something like rose server launcher.bat or something.bat

Whatever you do make sure its got a .bat at the end of the file name.

The other people just need the game. And in the rose game directory there is a file called lconfig.. Tell ur friends to open it in notepad and edit it to your wan ip and u must configure the rose configuration settings in your rose server folder.

I hope that makes sense,lol.

login failed? did you start the 3 rose servers up?

And to Create an account you need to setup the rose website that came with the rose server pack which can be fond on the first page of this topic.

There is an exe file called rose web which must be put in the htdocs folder of xampp and extracted or installed if your useing xampp or if your useing wamp5 you must create an alias then point that alias to the rose website folder.Eitheir way you must extract or install that rose web to register.

ok i go test for the website, but for the server i have up all.... ( in PhpMyAdmin i have see 10 sql filles but he have normaly 11 i have'nt see charatere.sql but i have been istaled this )

There should be 11 sql files. you can also click on import in phpmyadmin and browse for the missing sql file to import. eitheir way you must have all 11 files before anything will work.

it's ok for the problem of sql i have the 11, but away the error when i want to connect in my accout game gm , login failed, but me i have creat my accout with phpmyadmin, in the sql accout look my configuration.

Then read every page up to where this page is. then the server will work.

As for letting other people play in your server you must change the ip of your server to your wan ip(internet ip) instead of 127.0.0.1 your friends clients config file must also be changed to your wan(internet ip) ip.

Also if you got a router you might have to port forward too.

To view the content, you need to sign in or register

There is however 1 thing i feel jenetix left out and that is the part about setting up wamp5 to register an ingame name and password to get into the game.

But the guide is great , so is the server download (on the first page) and very much apreciated by me. thanks jenetix.
