Server Releases

hrace009 Vbox Server Image (Recommended)

Spoiler

This is one of the most popular releases and is easy to set up. It runs Ubuntu on a virtualbox virtual machine. These server files contain pwAdmin as a web based management app. These server files do not contain many of the recent fixes so you will have to fix them your self.

This server release is very recent and contains a lot of custom content by the community. These server files are for a vmware installation but will also run fine on vbox. This server is running on Ubuntu with pwAdmin for web based management. Some of the new content includes a custom GUI (By Kristkos), cursors, music and more.

1.先到tanry.ys168.com 下载pwpack20070407.zip文件,然后解压,得到pwpack.exe文件.

注意:有人会出现无法解包并出现找不到msvcp71.dll文件的对话框,这是因为少了VC的运行库,可 以将msvcp71.dll文件复制到C:\WINDOWS\system32下重试就可以正 常运行.

6.这里以改"蝴蝶上衣"为"和服女衣"为例子.其他的大同小异.修改开始

7.进入刚才解压的models.pck.files文件夹内,继续进入"models\players\装备\女".(players是人物的时装 飞行器 装备==自己发掘)

8.在里面找到"蝴蝶裙上衣"和"和服女衣"两个文件夹..首先将"蝴蝶裙上衣"备份一个,防止以后要修改回来,然后记住"蝴蝶裙上衣"内文件的所有文件名,包括文件夹内的

9.记住后就删除"蝴蝶裙上衣"内所有的文件,然后把"和服女衣"内的所有文件(包括文件夹)复制到"蝴蝶裙上衣"内,然后按照第八步记起来的文件名对刚复制过来的改名.要按照好规律改.(这个规律不知道怎么 解释 只好自己理解了)

10.改好后到"G:\[完美世界]国际版\element" 备份一个models.pck(改个名字就可以了)

11.回到cmd窗口 输入 "pwpack.exe -z 0 -c models.pck.files models.pck" (其中数字0可以替换0-9 为压缩率 0为最小压缩,时间最短 占用空间最大 9为最大压缩 但相对的时间也相对增加)

12.等待最后的打包完成,然后就可以进入游戏看效果了.

P.s: 1.这只是一个例子,如果需要修改其他的请自己发掘.
2.后缀名为.pck的都可以解压.
3.这只是本地修改,不影响网络传送,别人是看不到的,属性也不会改变.

Tested and it worked on MY Client, mine is still 126 ... basically this unpacks the *.pck files for client modding...
Oops... Basically here's how it function:
Copy the pwpack.exe to the element directory of your client
Go to the element directory of your client in Command Prompt
use command "pwpack -x *.pck" to unpack
use command "pwpack.exe -z 0 -c *.pck.files *.pck" to pack
*denotes the name of the file!!!!!! don't include the " "...
example: models.pck
pwpack -x models.pck to unpack, it will go to directory in element\models.pck.files\
pwpack.exe -z 0 -c models.pck.files models.pck to pack it back...
Copy msvcp71.dll to C:\WINDOWS\system32 if you have errors to missing named dll....
