Hello Ragezone!
I have seen a lot of people having trouble in setting up their API...
So here is my guide!
Prerequisites: (Do not install them yet! i will tell you how to!)
- Abyss Webserver X1 (
- SQL Native Client 2012 (
- PHP 5.4.14 (
Please note that i am assuming you have SQL Server 2008 installed and configured for Windows and SQL Authentication!
Now install Abyss Webserver...
After you did that, make a folder API in the htdocs folder. (Default: C:\Abyss Web Server\htdocs)
Now, navigate to: localhost:9999 (if it doesn't work, make sure you have the webserver started!)
It will promt you to enter a password, which you should have configured during the installation!
Now look for Hosts, click Configure at the Default host!
Now navigate to ASP.NET Parameters, click add.
for .NET version select: 2.0-3.5 and as virtual path select your API folder that you just created!
Now go all the way back to localhost:9999 and stop the webserver, and start again.
Now if you go to localhost/api you should see an ASP error page, don't worry, ignore it!
Now download PHP 5.4.14 and extract to: C:\Program Files\PHP5
And return to your management console.
And click configure again at your Default Host.
Now open Scripting Parameters and at interpreters press Add!
Keep everything the same, just at Interpreter select:
C:\Program Files\PHP5\php-cgi.exe
and at extensions add: php.
Ok, so now press OK and go back to localhost:9999 and restart the webserver again.
Now install SQL Native Client 2012.
After that move to the path where you extracted PHP and open php.ini.
And at the bottom add: extension=php_sqlsrv.dll
And search for: extension_dir and Uncomment that line! (Remove the ";")
And it should look like this: extension_dir="C:\Program Files\PHP5"
Now download this file:
and put it in C:\Program Files\PHP5 !!!
Now restart your website... put the contents of your /Site/ that you compiled in the API in the /api folder... and enjoy your webserver all setup for your private server!
