11º - Click on Check out As Project to start downloading the sourcecode

12º - When this finishes (be patient, this will take some time) you will see a new project with the latest svn sourcecode of Hero's1711

13º - Now you must configure your java you installed earlier so it may compile your server. So now you must open Window > Preferences. then look for

The + sign next to "Java" and press it to drop down the menu. Look for "Installed JREs" and select it. Now you must look on this list for "jre1.5.0_09" and check it as your compiler. If you do not see this Java in the list, Click the button "Search" and search your local hard-drive for the required file.

If you do not find it, you did not install the Java file correctly from earlier. After that you simply click ok once "jre1.5.0_09" is selected.

14º - Now go to Window > Show View > Other > Ant

schleuss - [SHARE] Compiling Hero's REV - RaGEZONE Forums

15º - Now a new window "Ant" should appear next to the "Outline" window. Now go to it and Click on the icon that looks like an ant "Add buildfiles" Hero1711_Datapack > build.xml. Then click ok.

schleuss - [SHARE] Compiling Hero's REV - RaGEZONE Forums

16º - Now look in your Ant window and there should be a whole new group. Click on the + sign to drop down the menu and double click on "Dist [Default]" and this will compile your server.

17º - Now pay close attention to the next window because it will display where it compiled a much needed zip file which is your main server files. Go to that location and extract the files in L2J_DataPack.zip to your Server folder and overwrite any old files if you have a previous version.

18º - Anytime whit a new Revision will be release you make it..
In the "Ant" window and double click on "clean" this is delete your .zip build..
now in the navigator windows right-click on the Pack >> Team >> Update..and Eclipse will be update all file for the new version..now you compile the new rev.

If you installed java first then try this.

The best solution I've found (after a little bit of digging through Eclipse's options) is to edit Ant's runtime properties. Go to Window > Preferences > Ant > Runtime. Choose the Classpath tab. Select the Global Properties node in the tree and click Add External JARs. Select tools.jar from your JDK directory (e.g., j2sdk1.4.2_03\lib\tools.jar). Click Apply and OK, and you should be on your way. Not too hard when you know what to do. Now if this could only be done automatically by Eclipse on install...

This is not mine but it worked for me. seems sun has a bug in th einstall procedure.

completed all steps except this one :

now in the navigator windows right-click on the Pack >> Team >> Update..and Eclipse will be update all file for the new version..now you compile the new rev.

i cannot locate it, there is no SS either. any followup ss or info?
