I'm having to make due with SecureCRT 6.5.4 since I can't obtain a license for any version, let alone get SecureCRT 5.1.0 like you used in the tutorial. My problem at the moment is getting my VM to connect to my router. I set a static ip and yet it's not letting SecureCRT connect to it.

What's the solution to this?

I dont have anything against darkxll or you so i wont be an asshole but.
Why the hell are you using the server files this old?
The easiest,safest and most bugless server files are TDP repacks :T

Make sure that your virtual machine actually obtains an IP via DHCP. Google for "centos dhcp client".
