ok I made a guide for how to get the old gamegurad file if you get errors. ok here it is:

Hi what you need to do is edit you host file. so go to
Code:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
for Windows XP. Forgot where the other OS were. ok so it should look like this
Code:
http://img450.imageshack.us/img450/5085/chhosts7pp.jpg
.

ok now after your there click on the file named host. open it with notepad and add this at the end
Code:
75.126.3.83	update.nprotect.net

For EVO add this

Code:
75.126.3.83	nprotect.roseonlinegame.com

so now your host file should look like below #Note the host file may be a little different:

Code:
# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

127.0.0.1 localhost
75.126.3.83	update.nprotect.net #Rose
75.126.3.83	nprotect.roseonlinegame.com	#Rose EVO

ok now your done. Hope this helps.

EDIT: added EVO client Gameguard Address
