I went to play one server and ever since I can't play anything else since I just connect to that one server.

I've tried removing and reinstalling but it doesn't help, what the hell did that server do?

I'm talking about arcticstory.

Edit: posted in this section since I'm trying to connect to my own server and I just get redirected to Arctic..

What kind of client did they use? Was it a .dll that you had to put into your maple folder and then click on gamelauncher? If it is, then just take out the Redirector.dll, the .ini file, and put in a clean ijl15.dll into your maplestory folder.

If you disconnect after imputing your PIC on your server then check your network adapters on device manager and uninstall loopback adapter if it is there.

A client that looks as regular as other. I have no loopbacks and never did and no, I do not dc after inputting PIC the problem is that I just connect to arctic and every client I download comes with arctic's IP for some reason..

I virus scanned but found nothing, I'll try spyware scanning I guess.

It sounds kind of like Arctic is forcing you to play their server, Lewls. But yea, check your loop back adapter of you even have one. If not, see if you can connect with a fresh client of another server from a VM or separate computer.

I don't have one and never had one ~!
@kerning I could play any server just fine on this machine b4 arctic.

Are you sure you checked correctly? The adapters name is usually Local Area Connection, or Local Area Connection 2 on desktops. Then under that it will say MS Loopback Adapter. Is the redirector still open maybe? Did you try restarting your computer? If it uses the Redirector.dll, did you replace the Ijl15.dll with a clean one?
Otherwise, you can't be helped.

I am sure..

Arctic was deleted at least a week ago and I've had quite a few restarts since.
What does the ijl15.dll has to do with downloaded clients having arctic's ip automatically?

The problem is not that I get redirected to arctic when starting clients but that I download clients and they automatically come with arctic's IP !

why don't you try clear/delete all your cached data/histories (web browser etc) and then try download other server's client again?

That isn't possible. You are obviously redownloading the artic client. You can't download a client and the ip magically changes. Do you know what it means to get redirected to the server? The client you're using doesn't have to be a redirector for it to redirect you. Why don't you try listening instead of being so stubborn?

^ you want me to stream and show you what I download?

Tried cleaning cache and other stuff, still the same ^^

I'm not saying that it's a redirector or something, I'm saying that I download clients from different sources and they all come with arctic's IP for some reason.

I'm not being stubborn, it looks as weird to me as it does to you.

Edit: I noticed something.
All the clients from servers are getting detected by my antivirus, but the localhost I can find around here isn't and actually it keeps it's IP!
