It, in fact, is rocket science. So, you must do some hard calculations, divide your number by 100 and then multiply the result by the required percentage. X/100*n.
"The population of the world is inceasing at an Annual rate of 1.6%, in 1990, it was 5250Million. Calculate an estimate for the population of the world in 2010"
I got 6930M once and the other time I got 6826M.
Its a estimate, and the answer says 7200.
I did 10%, 1%, and 5% = 16% Divide that by 10 = 1.6%. Then i x that by 20, Then i added that to the 5250M,
Anyone know where Im going wrong =/? (Calculator allowed btw
You should really understand how it works before you can do it properly.
So basicly you got 5250 million, divide it by a 100, then x 1,6 which is 84 million, then add that to the 5250 which is 5334 million and then for the next year you need to get 1,6 from 5334 million.
Every year that 1,6% get's bigger, so if you would just do 20 (years) x 1,6 then you would be very off, it has do be done by the year.
I forgot the exact formula on to do that though, but there is one that you can fill in your calculator and it will do your ****.
