what about the files, how developed are they? official, emu? or non existant.

I though you would know by now, since they were released in RZ. o.o
Official files, work with OpenBSD(Linux distro).
I think that they are somewhat like flyff, so yo can easily edit stuff from them.

Metin2 is Developed using Python Programming Language, Official files as said by darckalan, server is controlled by Virtual PC. all i know is the game was made in korean or japan and then was bought by YMIR its a great game with challenging strategy. Its an old game but beats all Modern games.

If you make one, ill be the first to post a tutorial how to make one and the server files.
