Doubt Google will listen. And the list is so short. Think they will send more DMCA claims to them if they follow this one.

This made me LMAO so hard.
Care to explain why its so funny? Companies do this all the time to remove piracy listings. Search for any popular movie with "download" at the end and you'll see " X has been removed due to a DMCA violation" all over the results.

Google actually has it in their usage policy to act on these complaints. Might want to go read a bit.

Looks like a top 10 list off RetrosList.

It made me laugh, because Sulake's(/Elisa's?) going harder and harder with taking down hotels. I personally think that they just haven't found a person to contact regarding these hotels and that's why they want to remove them from Google. It won't amaze me if they're going to take down Youtube videos about retros too.

Considering Google have been trying hard to comply more and more with DMCA reports, these could most likely be removed from their search. Sulake have actually acted a little smart, considering a lot of people use Google to try and find private servers in the first place.

This is how Sledmore explained it to me..

I'd imagine just changing domains and whatnot will fix this. Sulake will just have to keep remaking a list of hotels the more times you change your domain.

Well yeah. They (might) not be able to obtain the details of the hotel owners in question right now, as they may have pending court orders or warrants to obtain the information from some one like the domain registrars or PayPal. So they'll choke the hotels out of providing vital resources to get visitors to hotels. They're already going after hotel owners Facebook pages ( ). So why wouldn't they want the sites removed from Google ?

Seems like a whole lot of time, money and effort wasted. A good way to loose and piss off your userbase as well. Habbo users are at the bottom ring of intelligence when it comes to an internet user. They won't follow or keep track of your forever changing domains.

If it is seriously coming to this why not just give up and do something productive. By the time you've fucked around with domains, losing your user base and wasting money you could have made or done something fully legal and profitable. You can't say it's for the money because retro profits is just pocket money compared to a real job.

Sulake are killing us off here. At some point, the retro community will die, whether you're changing domain or not. They'll find an easier way to get rid of us. We're being killed off one by one and it's bad enough that a few of the mainstream hotels have already been pushed off the web.

'Habboon.com' no longer shows on Google search, only 'beta.habboon.com' as this as been accepted. Same for 'playfatal.com.' Looks like they're working their way up from the bottom of that list to the top.

Shock has been taken down too
Searched "shock.im" and it reported the DMCA at the bottom.
