Hello everyone,

I am applying to become a supervisor for the Project RaGEZONE category. I have previous moderation experience on the forums and believe I would be a valuable asset to the section.

I am applying because I want to help improve the section, make it more organized, and contribute more effectively to meaningful changes.

In the past, I moderated the Habbo and Kal Online sections, where I increased visibility and organized content.

Who am I?
I'm a 27 year old developer, 3 warnings on the account (all expired years ago).
Almost 2 decades on the forum as a contributor and moderator, and now as Legend (retired).

If needed, I’d rather share more about myself via private message so that my personal information isn’t indexed.

FAQ
  • Have you broken a lot of rules? If yes, its ok as long as you've corrected yourself. If you've broken rules recently that reflects poorly on you.
    • No, three expired warnings with a dispersed timing between them.
    • Yes, but not as much as I liked, the category needs some cleanup
  • Tell us about you, why you want to be a moderator, what drives you to make a post here. Help us get to know you.
    • I want to improve and better organize the category. Although the section already has moderators and advisors, I would like to make meaningful improvements to its structure and create more opportunities to encourage new users to remain engaged.
  • Please be familiar with the forum rules at the very least if you would like to sign up to enforce them :)
    • Yes, I understand the rules thoroughly and am committed to upholding and enforcing them.

Why am I applying?
Please post your opinion as to why or why not the Applicant should get the position.

I have been interested in this category for quite some time. Seeing people leave and the number of active threads decline, I decided to become more involved. I am currently mostly a lurker in this category, but I would like to contribute to its growth and improvement. Although one does not need to be a supervisor to make a difference, I believe that becoming one would enable me to contribute more effectively to the section as a whole.

I want the chance to make a difference.

During my time on Habbo Hotel and in the Kal Section, I served as the most active moderator.

I'm also applying for MMO Plus

Kind regards,
Lucca (Droppy)

It's mod > visor > super.
I concur—I simply wish to take on more responsibility.

I do understand your point, although it is a small category and I have a good moderation history.

If this is not possible, there is no need to worry. I will apply for a section where I may be a better fit in!

+1 from me.

I’ve known Droppy for quite some time now and have always had a good impression of him. He’s a solid developer and knows his stuff.

In my eyes, he also did a good job moderating the Habbo section back when he was in that position.

I think he’s got the experience and attitude for Supervisor, so I’m more than happy to vouch for him. Good luck mate.

“I am a 27-year-old developer… and I have been contributing to the forum for 20 years.”
about 20 years yes. I've started development earlier on in life, as my father taught me in very early stages (around 6 years old). When I joined the forum (with an account I dearly lost) I was around 11, this account I made when I was about 13

ChatGPT says this application is most likely written with AI.
I have corrected and formalized some sentences, yes. It's a tool, and tools are meant to be used, but the history of changes is there. Same information.

+1 from me too

I’ve known Droppy for over a decade, and can happily vouch for him. He’s always been a good bloke, knowledgeable, reliable and willing to help when he can.

I don't want to be rude, but if you can't write your own sentences while applying to a supervisor function, you're not suited for the job.
Anyone can ask AI to write an proper application to a role, but this completely destroys the whole character and own identity. Not to mention the complete loss of credibility. Nothing about the application is saying "This is Droppy" now. It's all "This is an AI application".

You're not applying to a low-end role, as I understood from MentaL's reply "mod > visor > super" you're applying to be the "boss". That requires proper communication, skills and knowledge. Things you don't show by using an AI tool to help you write an application.

Just my honest opinion. I do wish you the best on the application though.

+1, half of it's honestly just to spite Taishiro's confident "no" 😂

don't know Droppy that well tbh, probably same as most of you. had a couple times he just never got back to me when I asked him to reupload something he'd shared way back. so idk, not perfect.

but most of what he's done for this forum over the years is way more than what he hasn't done. hope he's grown and get more hairs on his balls since then and gets better with communication and replying to people. 🤣

also Taishiro — isn't this more about good faith use of AI vs bad faith? he's not using it to invent a fake résumé or trick anyone, just cleaned up wording on an application he already wrote. that's not really the same thing as "fully AI imagined work history".

Let's give this fellow second chance.

I used it for a few paragraphs where I wanted it to be better placed. There are no rules against it and I'd deny if it was entirely AI, but it is not, I wrote everything and just passed a clean-up

I have not interacted with you much and was gone until recently as my job didn't allow for me to places that where violations of intellectual property.

This sounds like my background if you replace 6 with around 8 or so starting with html and css then moving to languages like c, c++ and java pretty interesting but i am quite a bit older than you.

I think you have done a great job so far should be interesting but i do not have any say in the matter nor know you personally. Would be nice to see you in MMOPlus too needs shown more love.
