By the way, I ran reload command twice with qa mode and it crashed server.

u can't use any commands outside of QA afaik, and don't need to either cuz u can simply use webapp to send items to any character ingame.

Now we need to know how to re-balance it (HP/DMG...etc)... i think is from NPC Datasheets, but need more research.

Here's how i'm doing it:

on StrSheet_Creature-00000.xml on DC search for the name of the monster you want to change, each monster is inside a <HuntingZone id="">, for example if I want to change Nightmare Fulminar

<String class="" name="Nightmare Fulminar" templateId="1002" gender="male" race="" title="Divine Nemesis" />

Nightmare Fulminar is in <HuntingZone id="454">, so you go to NpcData_454.xml on server and find the template with id "1002".

many of the attributes are outdated, so you would have to look at newer monsters and add attributes like physicalAttack="" physicalDefence="" magicalDefence=""

this also has to be modified in DC

Could somehow direct me to which values I'm looking for when modifying the dll? I assume it's to be done with a hexeditor correct?

edit: found that the problem was elsewhere:

1. If U needed Admin Web console, so install IIS with ASP .NET 4.x & .NET 4.7 or above
- Enable “HTTP Activation feature” for IIS
8. For change cridentials of Server admin Control open with an assembly tool like “dnSpy” to edit file “\TERA_SERVER\WebApp\bin\WebApp.dll” then expand project tree sections “WebApp.dll > WebApp.ProtoBuf > LoginHelper” find string “if (loginId == "teadmin" && password == "111111111")” and replace Login/Password what U needed, recompile and gtg
9. If U plane use Administrator's options U need launch “IIS Manager” and on it in section “Sites” disable/stop “Default Web Site”
9.1. In “Sites” add website “TERAWebApp” with parameters:
- “Site name” set as “TERAWebApp”
- “Physical path” set as “d:\TERA_SERVER\WebApp”
- in section “Binding” set parameter “Port” as “88”
- all other settings keep by default
9.2. CheckIn “Application pools” add create if not exists application pool “TERAWebApp” with parameters or correct settings for exists like:
- “Application pool” set as “TERAWebApp”
- “.NET CLR version” set as “.NET CLR version v4.0.30319”
- “Managed pipeline mode” set as “Classic”
- all other settings keep by default

If you want to use the _EUR datacenter you need to modify the region in the API and change it from TW to EUR.

You need enable QA mode in DeploymentConfig.xml. Set qaServer="false" to qaServer="true".

@Muggus Also you can just use my toolbox with crypto fix, all modules in Get More Mods for p92 already ported for 100.02.
But I would not like to downgrade electron to an older version, so need to recompile the crypto libraries.



Unfortunately, your toolbox has a packet hashing problem:

I think, it uses tera_network_crypto_85.node with wrong hashing.

Thanks again for the help hsdn. I tested some mods in patch 100 and they look to be working . Still looking for how to get Shinra meter working and ngsp think those two would be really helpful as makes gameplay more enjoyable.

If I delete an item or change the number of Tcat in my inventory here, the client will force close, is this normal behavior?

Also, can anyone tell me if there is a way to change the contents of the Tcat shop in real time without QA mode?

You should be able to do it accessing this url "http://[WEBAPP_URL]/item/BuyMenuListManage.aspx" on the webapp and selecting the menu "315"
