I've been wondering about some things and I'm pretty sure other people also do.

How likely will Sulake take down your hotel if it has around 1k players online?

Do you believe a lot of habbo retro's are not taken down because Sulake doesn't know about them?

What are the possibilities to spend the money you've earned, since the money is earned in an illegal way you can't just put it on the bank right?

What makes a retro hotel special and good in your opinion?

They can't just "take down" a hotel, there is a big process and probably money involved if they really wanna take it down.

If your hotel is a few months old and you have 100+ users online they probably know it exist. You will notice when they send you a DMCA notice.

I think most retro owners get money directly to their bank account, no offshore accounts :

Probably, a lot of teenagers also work without paying taxes and just put the money they earned on their bank so I guess when its just a few hundred dollars it doesn't really matter.

Sulake obviously know about the findretros website and probably checked out every hotel on that list.

Most Habbo retro owners use a PayPal account with a bank account linked too it. Most people just purchase items via. PayPal if you're smart then you'd transfer it since Habbo can/will end up contacting PayPal and getting your account locked.

A lot of credits, otherwise you might as wel go to the real Habbo because you wont be able to build rooms - also a decent user base because if theres no community there is no fun.

If you make enough money, they will take you down. Leethotel.com is big in the netherlands, it has around 400 - 500 players on a day, Sulake isn't taking the hotel down. And it's running for almost 3 - 4 years now.

Do you believe a lot of habbo retro's are not taken down because Sulake doesn't know about them?
For sirious i think, that sulake are even user son Ragezone. Just to watch the grow of habbo retro.

Here in the netherlands, we can get 10,000 euro to the bank. And they aren't asking how you are getting the money

The effort and time people send in, And how some hotels are well-cared for their users. And the free credits/pixels tho, so you can really build something.
