Who we are​

TickMU is a custom Season 3 build rebuilt from the ground up — rebalanced, polished, and built around a progression system you won't find on a stock server. We didn't just reskin a Season 3 files pack and call it a day: TickMU runs on its own Celestial gear lore, its own custom jewel system, and a full calendar of automated events, all tied together by an economy we're happy to explain in detail below instead of hiding behind "come see for yourself." Whether you played MU ten years ago or you're new to it, we built this to feel nostalgic and fresh at the same time.

Gear Progression — and why it's fair

Two elite gear tiers exist on TickMU, and they're earned very differently:

• Semi-Uber — an Ancient item with up to 2 Excellent options. Fully free and 100% in-game: use a Jewel of Ancient 1 or 2 to turn any base item into whichever Ancient set you want, then layer on Level, Skill, Luck, Additional and Excellent jewels to build it up. No donation required, ever — and you can craft any set you'd like this way. (One rule: Ancient jewels only work on items with up to 2 Excellent options and +12 level — that's what keeps this tier "semi" and not full.)
• Full Uber — an Ancient item with 6 Excellent options at +13, the best gear on the server. It comes from one of three sources: the rare Jewel of Full, a Webshop donation, or the in-game Celestial Boss Hunt + Golden Archer exchange.

- Full Uber Tier 1–2 is donation-only — there is no in-game method to obtain those two tiers.
- Full Uber Tier 3 is 100% Free-to-Play: it requires farming Stardust and class-specific jewels through the Celestial Boss Hunt and the other server Invasions, then trading them in at the Golden Archer in Devias.
*Tier 3 sets also carry higher defensive stats than the donation tiers, which makes the in-game path the stronger gear option — not just the free one.

VIP — What It Actually Changes

We keep VIP transparent and capped so it never turns into a whale-vs-everyone situation. VIP doesn't stack, there's no accumulating 100 days, and the drop-rate bump VIPs get is mostly on high-tier jewels — most event items and Fenrir materials drop at the exact same rate for every player, VIP or not.

What's new:
- Brand new Frosty VIP Status window, frozen ice frame, icicles and all

- Close the window anytime with the button in its top-right corner

## Customized Map Tabs

Press **[TAB]** in any main map and you'll see a real picture of the map now, not the old line sketch. It's hand-painted terrain: snow, grass, water, cliffs, buildings. Devias had it before; now **every main map** does.

- **Quest Point** – quest NPCs and quest locations

** Auto-Walk with CTRL**
Open the map with **[TAB]**, hold **[CTRL]** and click anywhere on it. Your character walks there by itself. Use it to reach a spot, an NPC, a boss zone or an exit gate without walking there by hand.

- Find the nearest NPC or warehouse before you leave town
- New to a map? Open TAB to see the spots, bosses and exits at a glance
- CTRL + click a leveling spot right after you warp in

**Map Visual Overhaul: New TickMU Flags**

The old, worn-out flags around Lorencia and Devias have been replaced with brand-new TickMU server flags.

**Lorencia**
- The big blue banners at the town entrance now carry the official **TickMU logo** instead of the old laurel wreath
- Banners are now **double-sided**, so the logo reads correctly from every angle
- Upgraded to **HD quality** with a sharp, detailed finish
- The orange horse-rider flags on the city walls and gate are replaced with the new **TickMU War Pennant**

**Devias**
- All the old "E" flags around the **PvP zone** are replaced with the new **TickMU War Pennant**
- The orange flags around Devias are replaced with the same pennant, so the whole area matches

- Deep crimson cloth with gold-embroidered trim

- Classic swallowtail cut, in high resolution (up to 8× sharper than the old flags)

Big one today: the bottom bar has been rebuilt from scratch in the new theme, and more of the old windows got the same treatment.
Same game you know, same buttons in the same places, just a cleaner and more modern look.​

New bottom bar

• Round HP and MP orbs with real liquid inside: bubbles rise and pop at the surface, and the level drains smoothly when you take damage.
• The HP orb pulses red when you drop under 25%.
• SD and AG bars now run along the top of the bar, with their values on them.
• Q / W / E potion slots are cleaner and the potion counts are never cut off.
• Your active skill sits in a gold frame, with its hotkey number visible.
• PARTY, CHAR, BAG and SHOP buttons show their hotkeys (P, C, I, X).
• MENU (U), FRIENDS, GUILD and MU HELPER have their own buttons.
• Your level, EXP % and coordinates are shown on the left.
• A soft ice-blue light now runs around the whole bar.

LET'S TALK ABOUT THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM
Every experienced MU player looks at a new custom server and asks the same question:
"Donations only cover Tier 1 and Tier 2 sets, so won't donators buy full Tier 2, lock down the server, and turn this into another 2-month pump-and-dump?"

We built TickMU from the ground up to solve this exact problem. Most custom servers die because paywalls choke out the player base. Here is why TickMU’s economic architecture is structured for the long haul:

1. Tier 3 Celestial Sets are 100% NON-DONATABLE
You cannot buy Tier 3 with cash or on the webshop. The absolute endgame gear must be earned purely in-game by hunting 3,000 Stardust and trading with the Golden Archer. Whales cannot swipe their way to the finish line.

2. A True Player-Driven Trade Economy
Stardust and Tier 3 items are fully tradeable. Whales who buy Tier 1 or Tier 2 sets to skip the early grind still need Tier 3 gear. Since they can't buy it from the shop, they have to rely on the market—trading Tier 1/2 sets, credits, or custom jewels directly to active F2P grinders in exchange for Stardust or Tier 3 pieces. The market ratio and economy are dictated entirely by YOU, the players.

3. The Semi-Uber Pathway (A Real Fighting Chance)
F2P players aren't left defenseless targets. You can craft Semi-Uber gear (Ancient + 2 Excellent options) using in-game custom jewels (Level, Skill, Luck, Add, Exc, Ancient). It gives skilled grinders a legitimate fighting chance against donators in PvP if you master your class mechanics.

4. Strictly Balanced PvP & BK Combo Tuning
Damage formulas, hitrates, and mechanics are meticulously tuned around true BK Combo execution. Every character class has a fair and competitive footing on the battlefield.

Hey RZ,

You've seen a hundred S3 ads with the same EXP table and the same "balanced PvP" line. So here's only what you won't find on the next server.

1. The best gear in the game is free. Really.
Our endgame Tier 3 Uber Sets aren't in the shop. You earn them.
Kill World Bosses, run events, collect Stardust, and trade it at the Golden Archer: 3,000 Stardust = a full Tier 3 set.
Donors don't get a shortcut to the top. Players who show up do. [unless they'll sell the donators, which ofc is a win-win situation, to grab a classic Tier1/2 Uber donate set ]

2. Fair by design
- VIP is small and short (Gold 7 days / Diamond 14 days), and it's bought in-game only. No permanent "god" packages.
- Donors / whales cannot break the server economy, on the contrary, they can only help it flourish. [Base assumption for this reckless promise: Our Tier 3 End-game Gear is NOT for sale. you have to grind to get it. donors don't grind, donors trade their donation items for grind items. = Real Free 2 Play & Donors balanced economy.
- Semi Uber sets crafted for free -ingame to give F2P players a chance to gear up for events, bosses, CS, and even PVP versus full on Ubers. [if u don't got PvP skills, even god can't help you vs a true pvper.]
- Staff don't sell items,
- We have all the necessary tools to steer-clear of cheaters, hackers, or deceivers.
- Protected client (DMO ) built against hacks and multi-tool abuse.

3. Fully automated, so it never sleeps
- Celestial & World Boss invasions every 4h / 6h, with killing-blow rewards
- Kanturu Maya/Nightmare, Crywolf, Blood Castle, Devil Square, Chaos Castle — all run themselves
- Castle Deep 3x daily (no ticket), daily Lorencia Jewel Drop, weekly Lorencia Race Track

* **NPC Windows:** Apostle Devin, Marlon and Sebina the Priest have new windows.
* **Message Boxes:** Every pop-up (trade, party and guild requests, confirmations, Charon, Archangel) has the new frame and new OK / Cancel buttons.
* **Wipe Inventory:** The trash button next to your Zen and its "wipe inventory" box got the new look too.

**Fixes!**
* **Readable Texts:** Charon's Devil Square messages and the vault Zen boxes no longer cut words in half.
* **Chaos Goblin:** "Item Option Combination" is now called **PvP Options Combination**.
* **Lahap:** The Refining Stone buttons now fit their text.
* **Guild:** The Position window was redone and its buttons fit their text. The Alliance tab no longer shows bits of the old window.
* **Search Party:** New look, same as the other windows.
* **Wallet:** The wallet no longer blocks clicks when it sits behind your inventory.
