Im getting one error left after adding jar files and its driving me nuts! Btw my source file is thr RoboSRC

c.getSession().write(MaplePacketCreator.showGuildRanks(npcid, rs));
Note: C:\Users\Mike\Desktop\DESKTOP FOLDERS\Games\#2Servers\Starting your own\MSV75\RoboSRC\src\tools\MaplePacketCreator.java uses unchecked or unsafe operations.

Sander it isn't really hard. Just add the src folder and scripts folder and hit finish. Then hit the hammer button.

i use HellyMS repack and i did compile but my first Hellyms.jar was 4000kb + and my compiled hellyms.jar is like 2000, i tested it but did not work!

public class MapleCharacter extends AbstractAnimatedMapleMapObject implements InventoryContainer {
1 error

Any solutions?

Sorry for bumping up this thread but must I compile everytime I changed something? Besides NetBean, can I just us Notepad++ or have to use NetBean?

When you run the .bat file to start the server, it refers to your jar files which are located in the dist folder to run the server. Therefore, you must compile every time a change is made to the source package part of the jar. For test packages [npc scripts and such], you dont need to compile if you make a change to a script. Also, you can edit files with notepad++ but you must compile with netbeans or another java compiler.

Alright I understand now. Thank you.

Hey there, ok i have reached a small discrepancy, most likely because I am following two different tutorials almost identical to each other and it is confusing.

Step Six -
After a successful build, navigate to your project folder and you should see a "dist" folder.
Inside should be "odinms.jar" copy this into your other "dist" folder deeper into your folder

My server.jar in the FIRST dist folder is named zenthosdev and the one inside the INNER dist folder is named odinms.

What is the correct action to take at this step?

I guess my question is: What EXACTLY are we doing in step 6 of this tutorial?
The point (correct me if I'm wrong) is to "build" the new complied files in the project folder for Netbeans which should contain 5 .JAR files then copy them once were done and overwrite the same 5 .JAR files in the server files/dist folder right?

Last question (maybe): My server .JAR file in dist is named "ZenthosDev" right now, not "odinms." So do I need to change the name first then overwrite or can both server .JAR files stay in there?

I hope that clarifies my inquiry a bit, it was late last night and I blew out on espresso.
