As promised, I grabbed and reuploaded everything I could find within my archive for this. I even included the DBs I rebuilt back in the day, can't promise their completeness however.

Thank you so much for this.
Honestly, the fact that you kept files from the 2010s makes you some kind of archive angel. I really appreciate it.
I’m downloading everything now, and I’ll also keep my own backups of all the files. If nothing else, I want to support the preservation side of this and make sure these files don’t disappear again.
About rebuilding/running the game: to be completely honest, even the original game itself shut down with plenty of bugs and issues, so creating a stable version where actual players can comfortably play together would probably be extremely difficult. We are still at the very beginning, and I honestly didn’t even think anyone still had these files saved.
This feels like a huge gift from CMB to everyone who still cares about the game.
For a properly buildable/playable version, someone would really need to spend serious time working on it. But realistically, for a forgotten game where maybe 5–10 people would log in just to look around if a server opened today, spending months on it is a hard thing to ask from anyone.
Still, for me this is a hobby project. I’ve already reached a point where I was able to get into the game and at least move a character around, so I’d like to occasionally share progress here as I continue experimenting.
That said, it is very far from a stable release, and I’m not a professional developer. I do think other people may be able to try as well, but anyone whose only goal is simply “getting into the game” will probably give up pretty quickly.
If we ever manage to make something work, I just hope it doesn’t end up like many TS2 private servers did.
Thanks again. This really means a lot.
