This guide is going to be on how to fix your computer from automatically restarting when you open MapleStory.
If you have this problem, this is the guide for you:
You open MapleStory
Screen goes black, and computer randomly restarts .. no error, nothing.
This happened to me tons of times before .. but here is how to fix it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 1) Click on the 'Start' button at the bottom left of your screen
Step 2) Click on 'Settings' then choose 'Control Panel'
Step 3) When in the 'Control Panel', doubleclick on 'System'
Step 4) Once your in 'System', click on the 'Hardware' tab
Step 5) In the 'Hardware' tab, click on 'Device Manager'
Step 6) Once you are in the 'Device Manager', find 'Display adapters' and click on it, and it should open showing your current graphics card/driver
Step 7) You need to right click your graphics card and click 'Update', if there is two of them there, update one and it will ask you to restart your computer, say no and update the next one. After you update the next one, then restart your computer.
After your computer is restarted and BOTH the drivers are updated, the problem should be fixed.
All credit goes to me
Enjoy ~
