Firstly, you will need a hex editor. You can get it from http://forum.ragezone.com/f427/release-hex-editor-379538/

Secondly you will need the client file, which you can get it from
GMS v52 -
GMS v53 -

Now install the Hex Workshop and run hworks32.exe

Open up the client file from Hex Workshop, press your keyboard Ctrl+F it will pop out a Find, search for 127.0.0.1 and click the Ok button

Now just type in your IP address manually for the 3 127.0.0.1, for example my IP is 58.182.213.238 and I will do this,

Re: [Guide] Hex edit your client

Umm that could be many things, i think you do have to change loginpacket.cpp or w/e to your ip, also you need to port forward if you have a router or it wont connect.

Re: [Guide] Hex edit your client

Yup, thats how my friend hosts his server.
Download hamachi.
Make a user.
Make a Network.
Tell your friends to join.
open up dxwnd.
put the location of your localhost.exe
then after localhost.exe (Put your hamachi ip here) "without brackets"
and then connect.

Re: [Guide] Hex edit your client

Of course it can, just look at odinMS and LocalMS.
I am pretty sure that they aren't on dedicated...
I have a question, what is the port for TitanMS?
8888?
